Ahad malam minggu lepas, Aisyah keluarkan semua buku agama dan buku catatan yang dia belajar di Sekolah ILIM. kat sini ramai yang panggil Sunday class. Saya panggil kelas agama ILIM. Dalam tu ada buku cerita nabi. Aisyah tunjuk buku tersebut..
Saya kata, 'Why not you read out loud the story of Nabi Ibrahim..'
Aisyah pun apa lagi..
'ooo ok.. Umi want me to read this? Bestnya.. Umi listen yer..'
Dia pun baca page by page..
'Ibraheem alaihi salam lived in Ur, a small town in iraq. The people of ur worshiped stones and statutes. Ibraheem did not like that at all. He knew that these idols could not speak, hear or see. They could not do any good or any harm. They could not feed the hungry or help the sick.. One day, Ibraheem asked his father, 'Why do you worship these stones that you have made, father?' Azar became angry and did not give a good answer. One day......'
"Umi, Nabi Ibrahim was a brave man kan Umi.. He smashed the idol. Can a woman be a prophet?"
Saya jawab, 'No, man only can be a prophet. All of the prophets are men.'
"Why? Aisyah rasa kalau woman boleh jugak jadi prophet. Sebab prophet tu kan dia teach people to be good, so woman also can teach people, bagi ceramah. Kenapa Allah tak kasi perempuan jadi prophet?"
humppp.. soalan sister in islam ni..[ uppps... hehe..]
Saya jawab siket jer..
'Being a prophet is not only to bagi ceramah. Aisyah read Nabi Ibrahim was put in fire. Prophet Muhammad also faced the same thing. People wanted to kill him.People who did not want to follow Nabi-nabi wanted to kill the prophet, macam-macam.. So it's not a simple job. The prophets had to go here and there sebab nak ajar orang masuk islam, banyak sangat kerja... Woman can not be prophet because of many other reasons, but Allah is the one who decides, kita kena accept what Allah had decided..'
Aisyah tak puas hati..
'But... Aisyah rasakan... bla bla..'
Jadi malam tu saya bercerita pasal man and woman in Islam.
To one and only audience i.e Aisyah..
It was a tough job though..hehe..
